Otto Rhode's Mountain Pearl was the first custom recieving color pages in the '50s. A lot of this great pick-up is documented and the build-ups is featured in Rod and Custom an Kustoms Illustrated. Although I doubt that the interiour looks better now, the restauration is great.
If you read the articles you can follow the mountain Pearl from it's build up as an almost stock Ford with lowered springs, to the point of no return to become a great show car.
