Mike and Larry Alexander started builing the Deora in 1964. The design and styling is done by Harry Bradley, GM's designer and art lecturer. In 2 years they build the car, they tried to get a car from Chrysler if Chrysler liked the desgin. But Chrysler didn't play, so the Alexander Brothers had a back up plan: they would go to rival Ford.......
Don't know how, but they ended up with a new Dodge and Bradley wanted to make it lower and get rid of the door lines. After all the result is very original!
